Alejandro Aguirre
About
Poet Alejandro Aguirre received his MFA at Boston University, where he was awarded a Robert Pinsky Global Fellowship and the Academy of American Poets Prize. In 2023, he judged Poetry's annual prizes. He has also served as editor in chief at Tea Literary & Arts Magazine and poetry editor at Clinch Literary Magazine. He was twice a finalist for the Atlanta Review's Dan Veach Prize, and his poems are published/forthcoming in Rattle, Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review, Louisiana Literature, Hawai’i Pacific Review, and elsewhere.
