Alejandro Aguirre

About
Poet Alejandro Aguirre studied history and English at the University of Florida, where he won the Samuel "Bud" Shorstein Creative Writing Award. He served as editor in chief at Tea Literary and Arts Magazine and currently serves as poetry editor at Clinch Literary Magazine. He was a finalist for the Atlanta Review's Dan Veach Prize for Younger Poets and received honorable mention for Lyric Magazine's College Poetry Contest. His poems are published/forthcoming in Rattle, I-70 Review, Hawai’i Pacific Review, and Islandia Journal.
